June is a bad month for my purse. I have 3 birthdays, a wedding anniversary and fathers day (which is not just for my Dad but as my daughter isn’t even 1 I obviously have to take care of her father’s day pressie for her too). Therefore I have decided to put my crafting and crocheting skills to use and get creative.
The first event of the month was my friend’s birthday. For this I made her a little gift set up of a custom-made mug, a ripple stitch dusty pink cup cozy, a cheeky mini bottle of Rose wine and a crocheted Yoda.
Here is the mug, the cozy and the little Yoda:
I was really pleased with how the whole pack turned out and obviously the recipient was a star wars fan. The mug was surprising easier than I had thought to make and I had great fun doing it.
The Yoda is certainly not the best pattern I have worked with and the coat needs a lot of work but I still think he is a little cutie. One thing is for sure, I MUST invest in some safety eyes 😀
